About Me
I have always had a love of music, singing and performing. I started singing in school productions and then took up the piano as well.
I am now offering lessons online to help ease the current social distancing guidelines.
After leaving school I won a place at one of London’s top drama schools, Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, where I trained as a singer/actor, gaining an MA in Musical Theatre Performance. After graduating I worked as a professional singer and actor for over 10 years, performing in theatre shows as well as on screen and in film. Memorable roles include a season with Opera Holland Park, Terry in the hit musical Boogie Nights, Scooby Doo voice in the number 1 tour of Scooby Doo and the Pirate Ghost, various pantomime roles alongside celebrities such as Matthew Kelly, adverts on television for Carphone Warehouse and Skyscanner, and playing a hotel worker in the feature film The Decoy Bride starring David Tennant.
Whilst performing I set up my private music practice and have been teaching for over 12 years now. As well as my private teaching I run workshops and work in various performing arts establishments as a singing teacher and rehearsal pianist. I offer music grade exams to anyone who wishes to pursue these but this is not compulsory. I also have links with recording studios.
Whatever your goal, age or ability, I would love to hear from you! My primary goal when teaching is to make the music learning process fun and accessible to all!
